Witley Jones appoint Lucy Jones as Director
We are excited to announce that Lucy Jones has been appointed as a Director at Witley Jones.
We are proud of our growth over the past 20+ years and something that has been instrumental in supporting this growth is our values, loyal workforce and family ethos.
As a family business, we are delighted to have seen both Matt and Lucy, the children of our Chairman and Financial Director Chris and Jane Jones, join and flourish within the business over the years.
It has been a pleasure seeing them learning the ropes from a young age, with a focus of ensuring the succession of the company.
Lucy Jones joined us back in 2015 as an Accounts Assistant, then moving into a Finance Manager role.
During this time, Lucy studied for three years and graduated with a Level 4 AAT Qualification in 2019, enabling her to take on more responsibility within the business.
Since then, she has continued in her development and we were delighted to appoint her as a Director earlier this year.
This role will see Lucy shaping and steering the financial direction of the business, overseeing the day-to-day finances and being involved in the key growth and strategy of Witley Jones.
“Personally this is a great accomplishment for myself. While I have worked hard to achieve this it would be remiss of me not to thank my now fellow Directors for the faith and belief they entrusted me with 6 and a half years ago when I started on this journey as an Accounts Assistant.” commented Lucy Jones.

Having watched the business grow from the family home at the age of 5 to where it is now 24 years later, I have an immense feeling of pride for everybody who has been part of Witley Jones along the way.
There is hard work ahead as we navigate our way through these unprecedented times but I very much look forward to being part of a bright future at Witley Jones Furniture!”
