Witley Jones increase capacity & productivity with CNC investment

In recent months, we have installed a new CNC Machine at our manufacturing base in Stourport-on-Severn, which has enabled us to significantly increase our capacity and continue in our growth.

The SCM Woodworking Technology CNC Machine will support us in continuing to provide innovative furniture solutions to our clients and demonstrates our commitment to investing in the best and most up-to-date technology.

We now have 3 CNC machines on site, providing us with the ability to process more projects and projects of a much larger size and scale, increasing our manufacturing capacity and capabilities.

This new machine has an automatic feed that loads panels into the machine through a loading bay, so there is no need to load it by hand. This will save our team valuable time and improve efficiencies and productivity across our business, all of which are critical factors at a time of growth.

With the latest technology, this machine also helps to mitigate the risks of breakdown and maintenance issues.

We can have confidence that we will be able to fulfill orders at all times, meeting deadlines and working to tight timeframes even during our busiest periods, supporting our business continuity.

The addition of this machine is not just about growth, increasing capacity and reliability.

One thing we pride ourselves on is our continuous efforts to adapt and evolve, particularly in regard to the design of the furniture we create, so that our clients can keep up with the needs of 21st century students and provide them with the best possible learning environment and experience.

This machine enables us to continue with this innovation, supporting us in providing the very best furniture to our clients.

We are looking forward to continuing to utilise it over the coming years, working with even more schools, colleges, universities and businesses to meet their furniture needs.
